The APPI is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity, headquartered at the University of Dallas, that has academic activities, both at the University of Dallas and elsewhere, as well as activities for business people, professionals, and other civic-minded persons in the Dallas area.  Our goal is to promote a public philosophy – a general set of principles that guide our political and social life – similar to that of the American Founding, which recognizes that a system of political and economic liberty depends essentially on a sound moral and cultural framework.
